JOKE OF THE DAY

CONFESSION OF A LADY!!!
...During lunch at work last week, I ate 3
plates of beans (which I know I shudn't).
When I got home, my husband seemed
excited to see me and exclaimed delightedly:
"Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight."
He then blindfolded me and led me to my
chair at the dinner table. I took a seat and just
as he was about to remove my blindfold, the
telephone rang. He made me pr............o mise
not to touch the blindfold until he returned
and went to answer the call. The beans I had
consumed were still affecting me and the
pressure was becoming unbearable, so while
my husband was out of the room I seized the
opportunity, shifted my weight to one leg
and let one go. It was not only loud, but it
smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a
skunk in front of a garbage dump! I took my
napkin from my lap and fanned the air
around me vigorously. Then, shifting to the
other leg, I ripped off three more. The stink
was worse than cooked cabbage. Keeping my
ears carefully tuned to the conversation in
the other room, I went on releasing atomic
bombs like this for another few minutes. The
pleasure was indescribable! Eventually the
telephone farewells signaled the end of my
freedom, so I quickly fanned the air a few
more times with my napkin, placed it on my
lap and folded my hands back on it feeling
very relieved and pleased with myself. My
face must have been the picture of innocence
when my husband returned, apologizing for
taking so long. He asked me if I had peeked
through the blindfold, and I assured him I
had not.
At this point, he removed the blindfold, and
twelve dinner guests seated around the table,
with their hands to their noses, chorused:
"Happy Birthday!

USED VS LOVED

Used vs. Loved

While a man was polishing his new car, his 6 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions.......sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.The next day that man committed suicide. . .Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved. But the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved.... In this year, let's be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits they become character;Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder. God bless you. If you don't pass this on to anybody, nothing bad will happen; if you do, you will have ministered to someone

Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education cuts students fees

The management of the Adeniran Ogunsanya college of Education, yesterday announced a major change in the running of the school system,a motion which received loud cheers and applaud from the students and the entire public.

It seems that while most other institution are bent on making life difficult for their students and looking for every means to extract money from the student, The Management of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education choose to do the reverse and put smiles on the face of their stidents, both freshers and old student alike when she announced a decrease in the tuition fees of the students.

The new development would see the freshers paying 38,000 over the 45,000 it ought to be and the old students having to save 5,000 for extra pocket money having their fees reduced from 30,000 to 25,000.

We thank the entire management and staff of the institution for taking the brave and courageous step to creating a new legacy in our tertiary Institutions, one which would last for a long time, and also plead with the senate of other tertiary institutions in the Nigeria to take a bold step and follow the well laid example in making life feasible for students and in that way improving the educational standard of our beloved country, Nigeria.

I would personally advise the Students to refuse strongly any hike in price by any institution, even if it calls for protest because it is our right and so far no motion in the country has failed when protested for.
